We turned in early, my girlfriend woke up about 4 am saying she had a bug bite, I said it must have been a mosquito at the pond earlier in the day, ten minutes later she jumps out of bed and says there's a bug on my pillow. Other outdoor activities include biking, mini-golf, volleyball, badminton, paintball, archery, and deer feeding. It was ok back when the food was good, but it hasn't been good in a while, and it kind of feels like a ripoff.I needed to have some medication delivered to the resort, and there was some confusion around that that somebody really should have been on top of.In addition, there were a lot of details in the suite that spoke to really shoddy workmanship. Our last trip, to Cove Haven Resort ended badly, and I wasn't sure if I'd be back or not, but a global pandemic and quarantine has a funny way of changing your view about stuff.This time around, we stayed in the newly refurbished Champaign Tower *Select*! Other than that, regional attractions require a drive. Just down the Road about 1.5 miles was ONAWA Lodge that caught fire some time in the early 80's and burned to the ground as it was a wooden structure! All-inclusive packages are on offer, though the fare at both Spooners Cafe and the Paradise Stream Restaurant wont impress foodies and there's a daily resort fee.
